Schoolcraft College supports a performance-based learning (PBL) model of curriculum development. This model
focuses on the intended outcomes at the institutional, program, and course-level of student learning. It assists
faculty to move away from “what do I teach” toward “what will the students learn” and aligns assessment,
teaching, and learning with intended outcomes.
